Description from the seller

19th century Chinese famille rose bowl with Yu Qing Tang Zhi mark

This is a hand-painted famille-rose porcelain bowl manufactured during the Daoguang reign (1821–1850) of the Qing Dynasty. The exterior is adorned with symbolic longevity peaches, iron-red bats, lingzhi ruyi emblems and scattered small floral motifs to convey blessings of fortune and long life. A four-character underglaze blue hall mark Yu Qing Tang Zhi is inscribed at the recessed base. The glaze surface presents a gentle luster, with pigment application typical of premium civilian porcelain production from the Daoguang period.

Overall condition:
Good preserved antique state except for penetrating hairline, large and small chips.

Faint glaze rubs exist along the rim and foot ring generated by long-term handling; tiny isolated manufacturing pinholes can be spotted on the foot base, consistent with original kiln firing traces.

Negligible surface scuffs appear on exposed raised painted areas from historical contact.

Size: 14 * 14 * 5.5cm
