The provenance of this tooth makes it especially interesting for collectors, because fossils from this specific location are known for their characteristic appearance and unique fossilization.
The tooth is in an excellent state of preservation. The complete root, crown, and natural enamel are fully intact, preserving the original structure and details beautifully.
The tooth has a very distinctive beige sandy color, a look not often seen in megalodon teeth from this region.
A striking and rare detail is the barnacles still present on the left underside of the root at the front of the tooth. This natural encrustation gives the fossil extra character and highlights its authentic marine history.
