Chinese Porcelain Oval Platter – 19th Century
Chinese Export Porcelain Oval Platter, Qing Dynasty, 19th Century
A fine Chinese porcelain oval platter dating from the 19th century, decorated in famille rose enamels with an elegant composition of flowering plants and two birds in a garden landscape. The cavetto is framed by a delicate floral border and stylized geometric motifs around the rim, characteristic of Chinese export porcelain of the period.

The platter displays a refined palette of pink, green, blue, yellow and iron-red enamels, with finely painted floral sprays and ornamental borders. The reverse is unmarked, as commonly found on pieces of this type.

Condition is generally good, with age-related wear consistent with use. Please note that one of the birds has an area of paint loss, as shown in the photographs. No cracks or restorations observed.
