Statue, Sint Gemma Galgani - 30 cm - Wood

This is an antique wooden statue of Saint Gemma Galgani.
She was canonized in 1940 and is the patron saint of people who suffer from back pain.
Gemma was diagnosed with spinal tuberculosis and was seriously ill for over a year and a half.
She lost her hearing and the mobility of her limbs, until she miraculously recovered.
Not for nothing is she regarded as the patron saint of people suffering from back pain and spinal injuries.
Height of this statue: 30 cm.
In authentic condition.
Made in Italy at the end of the nineteenth century.
