Wonderful ancient thurible, dating from the 1700s in a 17th-century style, including a censer-carrier boat.
It bears a Sheffield hallmark.
The base is damaged and, as can be seen from the numerous photos, a portion of the base itself is missing, but that absence does not in any way compromise the use or stability of the object.
