Pair of antique theatre/opera binoculars, feminine/masculine duo, in gilded brass, mother-of-pearl and black lacquer with fine rims:
Art binoculars with faceted mother-of-pearl, with silver reflections on a finely chased gilded-brass mount with floral motifs. Closed height = 45 mm, open height = 60 mm, width = 92 mm, diameter of the optics = 23/30 mm, brand in a diamond-shaped mark.
Binoculars with a handle 11 cm long in horn, with black lacquered cylinders edged with fine gold lines. Closed height = 44 mm, open height = 64 mm, width without the handle = 115 mm, diameter of the optics = 27/33.
Era Napoleon III. To renovate. Good condition of preservation.
