Brand Domus; two-volume bound 1957 Quattroruote annual, blue cloth bindings, good condition.
Description from the seller
Complete 12-month issue of Quattroruote from 1957 - Bound - 2 Semiannual Volumes - Excellent Condition.
The volumes I am offering at auction are the splendid complete year of the historic magazine Quattroruote for 1957, a pivotal year in the history of Italian motoring (the year of the Fiat Nuova 500 debut and the last Mille Miglia).
The work, which at that time was in its second year of publication with extraordinary sales for the era, is meticulously preserved in two volumes bound in blue vintage cloth (1st Semester and 2nd Semester) with elegant friezes and gold lettering impressed on the spine.
All internal issues are complete. They retain their original covers for the individual months, all inserts and advertisements of the era, as well as the paper subscription cards.
Internal condition is excellent. The pages show no tears, writing, missing parts, foxing or humidity stains.
The paper is sound and fully usable.
Overall good preservation for the vintage cloth binding, with normal and slight signs of aging on the spines that attest to its authenticity, and there are only a few small discolorations on the back cover of one of the two volumes.
A unique opportunity for collectors, automotive historians or vintage graphic and advertising enthusiasts.
