A space age lamp by Milanese designer Joe Colombo (1930-1971). Designed for Kartell in 1967, the KD28 lamp is made of plastic with a glossy black frame and white glossy opaque rounded shades that diffuse the light. An iconic Italian design piece.

This model is the rare version by Husqvarna, made in Sweden for the Nordic market in the 1960s-1970s.

Condition: Very good. This lamp is in very good vintage condition consistent with its age and use. The black plastic has very light wear. The white plastic shades are also in very good condition with slight wear and some chips on the inside rim of the bottom shade, not visible on the outside. See images for details. The lamp is in working condition. The electric wiring has been updated. Takes an E27 light bulb.
