- Value: 1 Fil, 5 Fils, 10 Fils, 25 Fils, 50 Fils, 100 Fils and 250 Fils.
- Year: 1983.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: دولة البحرين · ١٤٠٣-١٩٨٣ with central date palm. Reverse: corresponding face values with legends in Arabic and commemorative FAO motifs on the 250 Fils coin with FIAT PANIS inscription.
- Grade: PF69 ULTRA CAMEO (NGC) / PF68 ULTRA CAMEO (NGC).
Baréin 1983 proof set consisting of seven denominations issued to commemorate FAO. The coins feature representative designs of the country, highlighting the date palm as the national symbol and the emblem of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization on the 250 Fils coin. Modern proof striking with very well defined reliefs, deeply mirrored fields and strong contrast between bright backgrounds and frosted motifs characteristic of the Ultra Cameo designation. A high-quality set with excellent visual presence belonging to a representative issue of Bahrain’s agricultural and economic development during the 20th century.
