- Grading: MS66 (GBCA).
Commemorative coin minted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, a fundamental event in the process of independence and the formation of the Turkish Republic under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The obverse presents Atatürk's portrait with a kalpak, rendered in a realistic style and surrounded by the national motto. The reverse shows a depiction of the historic Grand Assembly building, accompanied by the motto “Hakimiyet Milletindir” (“Sovereignty belongs to the nation”), the face value of 25 Lira and the commemorative dates. The specimen exhibits outstanding conservation in accordance with its grade MS66, with sharp relief, very intense original satin sheen and clean fields that preserve an attractive silvery appearance, highlighting especially the minting quality and the excellent overall condition of the piece.
