Rectaflex Rectaflex 1300 Single lens reflex camera (SLR)

The Rectaflex 1300 (originating from series 25000, turning in the last produced 30000 series) was called the Rectaflex 1300, because of its shutter speed (the fastest shutterspeed at the time). Serial no. of this camera is 30097. The Xenon lens is from Schneider Kreuznach, serial no. 3509138.

An interesting feature of Rectaflex cameras with slow shutter speeds was the eight-jewel slow speed escapement, possibly the only camera with such a feature.

Build in 1954, this was seen as the best built Rectaflex ever, recognizable by its mushroom shaped shutter release button and the lens release button. The (still) Italian 30000 series of the proud Rectaflex - The Magic Reflex - was world's first series produced pentaprism SLR camera.
