Vase - Ceramic - Noritake

An exceptionally decorative Japanese Noritake porcelain vase, dating to circa 1915. This elegant three-handled example is beautifully hand decorated in the Art Nouveau taste, featuring a delicate landscape of flowering trees against a soft powder-blue ground. The vase is lavishly embellished with raised gilt moriage decoration and colourful enamel "jewelled" cabochons, creating a richly textured surface that catches the light beautifully. The unusual triple-handle design further enhances its rarity and decorative appeal. Bearing the Noritake factory mark to the underside, this is a fine cabinet piece measuring 20 cm in height. Presented in very good antique condition with vibrant colours and impressive gilding, it is an excellent example of early 20th-century Japanese export porcelain.
