Description:
This print on premium paper places an element of Western sci-fi imagery within a coastal scenography reminiscent of traditional ukiyo-e views. The composition features a toy Stormtrooper minifigure, characterized by the classic white and black armor, depicted in a dynamic and unstable mid-air pose. The character seems to have lost balance or to be jumping off a rocky, steep cliff occupying the left side of the painting. Beneath him, a churning sea with blue and turquoise hues crashes against stylized waves and splashes of foam against protruding brown rocks. Above the scene, a twilight sky in warm tones of yellow and pale orange is crossed by large pink cherry blossom petals that drift in the wind, emphasizing the sense of movement and displacement of the action.
"Lost among the waves of time, even the soldier of a distant galaxy capitulates before the power and poetry of nature."
Creative process:
The artwork was created through an innovative hybrid process: an initial sketch was generated with sophisticated artificial intelligence, subsequently interpreted and fully hand-colored by the artist using professional software on an iPad. In the final phase, a dedicated filter was applied to enhance the neo ukiyo-e style, giving the illustration sharp lines, strong contrasts, and that graphic elegance typical of contemporary Japanese tradition.
Packaging and Shipping:
Each print is personally packaged by the artist in their studio, and the packaging is highly protected as the print is shipped rolled in protective tubes.
