200 Korún silver commemorative coin minted by the Slovak Republic in 1994 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy (D-Day). The obverse features a modern, geometric design with the Slovak national emblem at the center, surrounded by the state legend and the face value. The inscription “MOR HO!” refers to the famous Slovak patriotic poem by Samo Chalupka, used here as a symbolic element of courage and resilience. The reverse shows the emblem of an Allied military unit under the inscription “D-DAY”, accompanied by the historic date 6.6.1944 and marine motifs evoking the amphibious operation. The set exhibits a contemporary style of clean lines and contrasted surfaces. The MS67 grade certified by PCGS indicates an almost perfect specimen, with intense original luster, highly reflective fields, sharp relief, and no significant visible marks, placing it among the finest preserved examples of this commemorative issue.
