Commemorative 5 Leva coin minted in 1979 by the People's Republic of Bulgaria to celebrate the centenary of the Bulgarian national communications services. The obverse features a stylized telecommunications tower surrounded by concentric waves symbolizing the transmission of information and the development of modern communications, accompanied by the commemorative inscription and the dates 1879-1979. The design reflects the technological progress achieved by the country during the century since the creation of the national postal and telecommunications services. The surfaces display a magnificent proof finish, with deeply mirrorlike fields contrasting with the satinized reliefs, providing a high-quality visual presentation. The condition is exceptional, with perfectly defined details and minimal visible imperfections, fully in line with the elevated PF68 grade.
