commemorative 5 Leva coin minted in 1978 by the People's Republic of Bulgaria to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Peyo K. Yavorov, one of the most prominent figures of modern Bulgarian literature. The composition is complemented by his name and the birth and death dates. The reverse shows the state coat of arms of the People's Republic of Bulgaria, with the heraldic lion surrounded by ears of wheat and crowned by a star, accompanied by the denomination of 5 Leva and the issue date.
