Description from the seller
GENERAL:
We present this charming Renault 4L, version 1.1 from 1985 with approximately 130,000 kilometers on the odometer, which fits perfectly with the proverbial history of having belonged to a 93-year-old widow. It has been in the same family its entire life, meticulously pampered with a lot of care and good use, always kept in a garage. You have the opportunity to own one of the best 4L units on the market.
Model Information:
The Renault 4 (commonly known as the 4L) is one of the most iconic and revolutionary vehicles in automotive history, produced between 1961 and 1992. This 1985 unit uses the 1,108 cc (1.1L) Cléon-Fonte engine, one of the most reliable and sought-after evolutions of the model, which introduced notable improvements in cooling and highway comfort compared to the earlier smaller-displacement engines, establishing itself as a robust and versatile utilitarian.
BODYWORK AND PAINT:
Its bodywork is in very good overall condition. It has a few minor imperfections, but it has not been repainted in order to preserve its factory original paint. The chrome shines, although the rear bumper shows some small imperfections.
MECHANICAL:
In mechanical terms, its engine is fully functional. The car starts easily when cold, has no leaks or losses of any kind, delivers full power on the road, and provides a very smooth and pleasant drive.
INTERIOR:
The cabin is in excellent, healthy, and clean condition, giving the impression that the years have not taken a toll. There are no signs of wear, clearly showing that its owner pampered it greatly.
DOCUMENTATION:
The vehicle has complete family history since its registration in 1985. We have our own management agency to efficiently and quickly handle all documentary paperwork and transfer processes, regardless of the buyer’s country of destination, taking care of the entire legal process.
PICK-UP:
Olot, Spain
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
In addition to the documentary handling, we offer customized transport quotes to ship the vehicle to any country requested."} }|? or just single object? Ensure final is valid JSON. Done.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
