Description from the seller

Hand-knotted Zemmour rug, originating from the Zemmour tribes of the Moroccan Middle Atlas, offered by Labboho.
An exceptional piece, both for its generous size and the richness of its decoration.
The rug stands out with its superb garnet red, burnt orange and terracotta tones, enhanced by touches of blue, saffron and ivory that give vibrancy to the composition.
The entire surface is organized in a checkerboard pattern, a grid of small compartments where a variety of geometric motifs appear: Berber crosses, diamonds, stars and traditional symbols. This density of designs, typical of Zemmour craftsmanship, testifies to meticulous work and a high level of weaving mastery.
With its warm patina and pronounced character, it's a statement piece that brings depth and authenticity to a space, whether traditional, bohemian or contemporary.
Fringe finishes at the ends.
Specifications:
Origin: Zemmour region, Middle Atlas, Morocco
Workshop: Weaving Woman of the Middle Atlas
Material: 100% natural wool
Technique: hand-knotted
Dimensions: 370 x 190 cm
One-of-a-kind, handmade

Slight variations in shade, patina and small irregularities, signs of the handicraft character and the piece’s authenticity.
