Coffee and tea service - Tin - Gunnar Havstad, Art-Deco

Beautiful, rare, old, complete Art Deco coffee service / tea service, by Gunnar Havstad*, from Aanund in Norway, date - 1935. (Also depicted in the Norsk Folkemuseum!) Spherical in shape, made of pewter, with solid oak handles on the coffee pot and the teapot. All three pieces, on the underside, bearing the Havstad logo as well as Pewter Norway. *Gunnar Havstad (1901–1973) was a Norwegian sculptor, pewterer, designer and author, best known for his innovative work with pewter and sheet metal. In the mid-20th century, he combined artistic form with functional objects.
