Educational anatomically detailed torsomodel by 3B Scientific, made of plastic, dating from 1980s, with 9 detachable parts including a full torso and removable organs on a cream rectangular stand, condition: good with signs of age and small stains.
Description from the seller
This professional anatomical torso model from the renowned German brand 3B Scientific is composed of 9 detachable parts and offers a detailed overview of human anatomy from head to pelvis. The model shows the full trunk with an opened front from which all major organs can be removed individually: the lungs in two parts, the heart, the liver, the stomach, the intestines, and the organs in the pelvic region. The head is also removable and split into two halves, with both sides showing a detailed cross-section of the brain, the sinuses, the pharynx, and the brain stem. The organs are numbered for educational and study use.
The model sits on a cream-colored rectangular plinth bearing the 3B Scientific logo and is finished in lifelike skin tones with color-coded anatomical structures in red, blue, and yellow for arteries, veins, and nerves respectively. The design is gender-neutral.
The condition is good for its age, with light signs of use appropriate for a model that has been used in an educational or medical setting. All 9 parts are present and complete. There is a rattling sound on the inside of the figure. A rare and substantively complete educational model, valuable for medical and scientific object collectors or for use in medical training.
