Description from the seller

Title:
Pair of lead crystal liquor decanters with hand-painted gold décor – Art Deco – likely Bohemian – circa 1930-1950.

Description:
Very elegant pair of lead crystal liquor decanters of high quality, produced in an Art Deco style.
The two decanters are perfectly matched and have their original stoppers, fitted by hand.
The crystal is particularly clear, heavy and resonant, producing a long characteristic ringing of lead crystal.
Each decanter features an octagonal, beveled shape, adorned with a design of long stylized leaves hand-painted in gold. The neck is accentuated by a wide gold band and a relief frieze.
The ensemble evokes the luxury productions of Bohemian glassworks (Haida / Nový Bor region), created during the Art Deco period, around 1930-1950.
No signature, but the quality of craftsmanship, the weight of the crystal and the fineness of the gilding attest to high-end production.

Dimensions:
Total height: 22.5 cm
Height without stopper: 18 cm
Diameter: 12.2 cm
Weight: 1 kg each without packaging.

Condition:
Very good condition.
no chips
no cracks
original stoppers perfectly fitted
very slight wear to gilding consistent with age
crystal bright and transparent
Photos are part of the description.
The decanters will be packed with the utmost care in double secure packaging.
Careful shipping with insurance and tracking
