24-piece Vintage Dinner Service – 12 dinner plates and 12 soup plates

Classic dinner service made of glazed stoneware ceramic with a decorative sepia-tone landscape motif in traditional country-house style and a richly ornate border.

The service consists of 12 dinner plates and 12 soup plates. The plates are bottom-unmarked, which can be common with older series and custom productions. A manufacturer stamp is not present, so the maker cannot be definitively determined today. The style and workmanship resemble English Ironstone and country tableware, though this cannot be confirmed with certainty due to the lack of a stamp.

Probably European manufacture from the second half of the 20th century. The service is in very good vintage condition and is suitable for both collectors and daily use.

* Production period: ca. 1950s to 1970s (Mid-Century Vintage).
* Background to the mark: The plates do not have a factory stamp on the underside. For this series it is absolutely typical from a production standpoint that batches without stamps were produced for export or as supplementary parts.

* Material: Stoneware / ceramic (Ironstone / Terraglia Forte).
* Condition: Good, age-appropriate vintage condition. The pattern is strongly pressed. The timeless rural motif in noble brown/red on cream-white Ironstone lends an elegant country-house charm to any table setting.
The set is perfect as a complete service for 12 people. Since this series was delivered un stamped at factory in part, the plates have no bottom stamp – the authenticity of the original pattern is nevertheless guaranteed.
