Description from the seller

MAGNIFICENT XXL PURE WHITE ACROPORA CORAL, in perfect condition! VERY RARE!
Large natural white Acropora coral – 1.77 kg – Old collection (before 1974)!

Very rare as it comes from a private collection built in the 1960s!

Natural white coral – Beautiful decorative piece – About 20 cm

Very beautiful specimen of natural white coral. Its dominant white color is enhanced by subtle brown and ochre tones at the base, testimony to its naturalness and age. The structure is delicate, branched, and symmetrical, typical of Acropora-type corals. This kind of piece was commonly used as a high-end decorative object or as a curiosity in antique cabinets. Today it serves collectors or often high-end aquariums.

Ancient piece from a private collection.
Sale in compliance with CITES regulations: this coral is a vintage piece, acquired before 2010 and 1975 and does not come from recent or wild harvesting.

Offered by DTD Shop Design Trend Dazzle, a shop specializing in curious, rare, and precious objects.

In coral reefs, white coral plays a crucial role by providing a vital habitat for many marine species. Small fish find a secure shelter among its folds and crevices, while invertebrates cling to its surfaces to protect themselves from predators. This interconnection between different forms of underwater life creates an ecological balance essential to reef health.

Beyond its ecological importance, white coral enchants divers and snorkeling enthusiasts with its striking beauty. When illuminated by sunlight, its white hues seem to radiate a light of their own, illuminating seabeds and creating breathtaking underwater landscapes. Its immaculate appearance contrasts beautifully with the vivid colors of other corals and tropical fish, creating a scene of great visual richness.
