Ceramiche E. Lazzar - Treviso - Enrico Lazzar - Vase - Ceramic

Enrico Lazzar (Gorizia 1865 - Treviso 1935). Ceramic vase with relief decorations in zoomorphic and floral motifs; mark under the base "Ceramiche E. Lazzar Treviso". In good condition with a slight defect under the base as in the last photo. Dimensions: height 16.5 cm - mouth diameter 18 cm - body diameter 20 cm - base diameter 14 cm. E. Lazzar founded in Treviso in 1907 a manufactory of artistic ceramics in Deco floral style named "Lazzar". In 1912, with the entry of a new financial partner, the firm became "Lazzar & Marcon". In 1915 the relationship with the financial partner ended and, also due to the war, production was suspended. In 1915 Lazzar resumed the activity on his own which ceased definitively in 1930.
