Description:
This print on premium paper reinterpretates the myth of the superhero in a retro key, drawing inspiration from the graphics of vintage Japanese woodblocks. In the center of the scene, a toy Batman minifigure floats in a dynamic pose, characterized by a black costume with the bat symbol on the chest, glowing white eyes, a taut and billowing cape to the sides, and an ochre utility belt. The figure seems to hover or land in a dense, atmospheric sky, dominated by large cumulus clouds and stylized smoke in shades of brown, sepia, and beige, with fluid lines accentuating the sense of movement and the drama of the action.

Creative process:
The work was created through an innovative hybrid process: an initial sketch was generated with sophisticated Artificial Intelligence, then interpreted and entirely hand-colored by the artist using professional software on an iPad. In the final stage, a dedicated filter was applied to enhance the neo ukiyo-e style, giving the illustration incisive lines, strong contrasts, and the graphic elegance typical of contemporary Japanese tradition.

Packaging and Shipping:
Each print is personally packed by the artist in their own studio, and the packaging is highly protected as the print is shipped rolled in protective tubes.

The Artist – SSICK:
SSICK, born in 2003, is a young Italian artist whose work stands out for the ongoing search for a balance between technological innovation and artistic sensitivity. From early in his career he developed a personal visual language, characterized by evocative compositions and immersive atmospheres. He also has a deep passion for street art and graffiti, engaging in the design and execution of original stencils used to create urban interventions with strong visual and identity impact.
