Large, geometric table lamp in the distinctive Hollywood Regency / Mid-Century Modern style of the 1970s. In the style of Jean-Claude Mahey.
Beautiful deep burgundy lacquer finish with elegant brass details.
Comes complete with the large, original fabric shade(35x33x40)
.Period: ca. 1970–1979
Dimensionswithout shade: 80 cm (height) x 22 cm (width) x 14 cm (depth)
Condition Report: In good, working vintage condition.
On the back, near the top edge of the burgundy base, there is a small scratch/loss of lacquer of approx. 1.8 cm (see detailed photo).
Due to its position at the back, it is virtually unnoticeable and does not detract from the overall appearance. The lacquer shows some light surface hairline wear/swirls consistent with age and high-gloss finishes from this era. The shade is original and in good vintage condition.
