Silver holy-water font with Madonna and Child – 800 silver

Nicely executed silver holy-water font (benitier), made of 800/1000 silver and crafted in an elegant historicist style. The wall plate features high relief depicting the Madonna with Child, surrounded by richly worked rocaille and foliate motifs. The semicircular holy-water reservoir is also richly decorated with floral ornaments.

The reverse bears the 800 silver mark and a German national mark.
