Towel (5) - 140 cm - 65 cm

Beautiful and practical, this antique lot consists of five damask linen towels from Flanders.

The fabric is absolutely natural, with no trace of synthetic material.

Three are identical.

All feature a hand-embroidered monogram in satin stitch.

They have fringes that are pulled from the fabric and knotted by hand in macramé.

Because they have remained unused for decades, they show light signs of aging from long storage in old chests, which disappear with washing.
