A vintage Japanese kitchen knife set consisting of two traditional knives with maker’s marks, offering a unique opportunity for collectors, chefs, and enthusiasts of Japanese cutlery.

The knife on the left is signed “Registered Sakai Suehiro – Honwari-komi DP Processed (登録堺末廣 本割込DP処理)” on the blade, with the inscription “極上 (Excellent Quality)” on the reverse side.
This marking represents traditional Japanese knife craftsmanship combined with a practical laminated blade construction.

The knife on the right is signed “菊守作 (Kikumori Saku)”, a traditional Japanese knife maker’s inscription. Its long, narrow blade shape reflects the characteristics of Japanese single-edged culinary knives, suitable for precise cutting techniques.
