Press - rare flowers/ books

A rare round press for flowers or books. What draws attention to this press are its round shapes: not only is the base round, but also the pressing block, the handles, and the arch to which the block is attached. The maximum height of the press is 9 cm. Diameter of the pressing block: 9 cm. Given the size of the pressing block, it is very likely that the press was used to dry flower and butterfly specimens, something that happened frequently in the early 20th century. The round shapes of the press also point to the early 20th century period.
