Description from the seller
Splendid and iconic vintage board game inspired by the famous Canale 5 television quiz hosted by Corrado. Produced in Italy by the renowned Editrice Giochi (EG) in the early 80s (circa 1983/1984), this game is a true piece of Italian television history and pop culture.
The game includes the original components to recreate at home the show’s historic challenges, including general knowledge questions, practical tasks, and the legendary wheel to conquer the course of the lunch.
Publisher: Editrice Giochi (Milano)
Year: Circa 1983
Contents visible in the lot: Original box, blue game board with compartments, deck of cards/questions, course tokens, 3 orange balls for the practical trial, checkered white-and-blue board/tablecloth, round cardboard turning plate with a pointer.
Condition: The box shows normal signs of age and storage on the edges, but keeps vibrant colors and the front graphic with Corrado’s face is well preserved. A timeless classic among board games in one of its most famous and sought-after Italian editions by collectors of vintage items. This is the version produced by Editrice Giochi (EG) between the late 70s and early 80s, recognizable by its iconic green box with the beautiful vintage illustration of the boy kicking a game piece.
Perfect for nostalgia enthusiasts of childhood games or for collectors of EG-era boxes.
Editor: Editrice Giochi (Milano)
Era: Late 70s / Early 80s
Contents visible in the lot: Original box, yellow plastic inner insert (which also serves as a board for variations like Risk/Petropolis on the back or a pawn compartment), classic game board, insert with original era instructions printed on white cardstock.
Condition: Box intact with a charming vintage patina and slight signs of wear to corners consistent with age. The cover art remains very vivid and impactful.
