Description from the seller
Hardcover catalogue of the Sophie Calle exhibition 2002 at the Sprengel Museum in Hanover, Germany. It presented a selection of 5 major works; for the first time she exhibited her 'autobiographical narratives' in the form of a cycle of 27 works blending text and image. Also presented for the first time outside France, '20 Years Later,' a remake of 'The Shadow,' appeared in the exhibition. This was complemented by what is probably her most controversial work, 'The Blind' (1986), and by the video 'double blind' made in collaboration with Greg Sheppard in 1992.
