Oldenkott - AR - Tobacco jar - Earthenware, copper/brass

Vintage Delft blue ceramic tobacco pot with copper-plated lid, produced in the 20th century on commission of the historic Dutch tobacco manufacturer Oldenkott.

The pot is decorated in blue and white with floral Delft ornaments and the word 'TOEBACK' on the front, an old Dutch spelling that refers to tobacco. On the underside it is marked with 'Oldenkott' and 'Handwerk', dating to 1760, Delft, AR
