Sennheiser - MD 21 Dynamic microphone

The Sennheiser MD 21 is one of the most legendary and longest continuously produced dynamic microphones in audio history. Since its introduction in 1953, the indestructible classic has been manufactured by Sennheiser. It has become known as an extremely robust reportage and interview microphone in broadcasting.

The MD 21 was presented in 1953 at the German Industrial Fair in Hanover, at a time when the company name Sennheiser had not yet been introduced (that came in 1958). It established itself as the standard microphone for radio and television reporting.
