The Thracian horseman, also known as the Thracian Rider, encompasses both the elite cavalry warriors central to ancient Thracian society and a recurring iconographic motif in art that symbolizes a youthful hero or deity, typically depicted charging on horseback with a spear or hunting wild animals.
