DRU - Platter - cast iron - Two vintage casserole dishes

Two vintage enamel cast-iron oven dishes,
DRU Netherlands, 1950s/1960s.

These two oven dishes are enameled in fiery colors red-brown and orange and have been used very little.
So good as new, with only a few minuscule blemishes.

The large three-compartment pan with lid
is stamped on the bottom: Made in Holland 22,5.
The pan is 22,5 cm in diameter and 5 cm high (7 cm with lid).

The small dish is stamped on the bottom: 4113-15.
Diameter is 15,5 cm and 3,5 cm high.

DRU stands for Diepenbrock & Reigers in Ulft,
an important iron foundry at the time.
Sometimes the DRU brand was marked on the bottom, often not.
Production of cast-iron household products stopped in the 1960s.
Today the old factory grounds are designated as cultural heritage.
