Description from the seller
Gaggia Gilda Espresso Machine (1950s)
Exquisite collectible & design classic – Gaggia Gilda “Rabbit Ears” (Milano, ca. 1952)
For sale is an absolute rarity for coffee enthusiasts and lovers of iconic Italian design: An original Gaggia Gilda lever espresso machine from the early 1950s. This model, manufactured in Milan (Via Cadolini 9), is a milestone in espresso history. A mechanically identical model gained fame, among others, in the hands of Hollywood icon Rita Hayworth.
The machine impresses with its distinctive “Rabbit Ears” design featuring two levers and the beautifully preserved blue enamel anniversary plate (1848–1948). The cosmetic condition is age-appropriate: The chrome has a gorgeous shine, and the wooden elements on the handles and the base are very well preserved.
Important sale note (Please note):

• Since it is a historical electrical appliance from the 1950s.

• Model: Gilda (1st version / “Rabbit Ears”)
• Construction period: from ca. 1952
