For sale is a beautiful set of 8 high-quality Roman wine glasses made of colored overlay crystal with an elaborate cut grapevine- and star-decor. In my assessment, the glasses originate from Polish manufacture (c. 1960–1980) and are a true eye-catcher for collectors and lovers of vintage crystal.
The set consists of:
* 2 × Green
* 2 × Blue
* 2 × Ruby red
* 2 × Smoke/rose tint
All glasses feature a decorative faceted crystal stem and finely cut ornaments. The overlay glass has been partially revealed by cutting, creating the classic two-tone decor.
Condition:
* 7 glasses are in very good used condition.
* One green glass has a small chip on the rim, which is only noticeable to the touch. It is not visible while drinking (see photos).
* No cracks or other damages.
A decorative vintage set for the home bar or a formal table setting.
