The Kanohi Kaukau, the mask of Water Breathing, is one of the most iconic masks from the first BIONICLE generation. This specimen is produced in a transparent light blue color, a shade not known as a regular production variant. As such, it is an exceptional collectible for serious BIONICLE collectors.

Based on the color and finish, this specimen could belong to a possible test color, pre-production variant, or internal factory sample. The exact origin, however, is not documented and cannot therefore be determined with certainty.
