Display frame - Wood - Antique wooden frame

A piece of great charm and visual impact, this important antique rectangular frame is made of solid wood, finely carved. The structure is enhanced by a rich peripheral band with relief decorations in floral/bacchantine motifs and by an inner beading finished with gold leaf that gives a splendid gloss.
The artisanal craftsmanship and the original patina on the back attest to the piece's age and authenticity, making it ideal for housing antique paintings, fine mirrors, or old prints.

Conditions and Restorations
The object presents generally good conservation condition considering its age. It shows the natural patina of time that increases its historical value.
Note a localized missing gesso/wood ornamentation in the lower-right corner and slight wear on the outer wooden edge (as extensively documented in the attached photo gallery).
Solid and healthy wooden structure.
On the back the original period hanging hook is still present.
