Description from the seller
Diehl Electro – porcelain kitchen clock with integrated short-time timer – Junghans Quartz W756 – Germany, ca. 1950s/1960s
Beautiful vintage kitchen clock from the German brand Diehl Electro with an integrated 60-minute short timer.
What stands out is the high-quality two-tone porcelain housing in warm cream and ivory tones. The harmonious color combination, the glossy surface, and the appealing asymmetric design give this clock a unmistakable Mid-Century character. The intentionally offset arrangement of the clock and timer creates a modern and balanced look that remains timeless today.
The domed glass with a brass bezel can be opened and reveals the clearly designed dial. With its generous dimensions of approximately 25 × 18 cm, the clock has a nice presence and is suitable both as a functional home object and as a decorative collectible.
The clock is in very good preserved condition. The porcelain shows a lovely gloss and only minor age-related signs of wear. The glass is well preserved, as are the dial and hands. Only at the hand hole and on the brass were a small amount of damage and small stains detected.
Function
* The clock runs smoothly (tick-tock quiet)
* Reliable Junghans Quartz W756 movement
* Hand position works correctly
* Integrated 60-minute short timer works flawlessly
The original Diehl design has been preserved and equipped with a high-quality Junghans quartz movement, making the clock reliable for everyday use today.
