Description from the seller
AUSTRIA. 100 Schilling. 1977.
- Value: 100 Schilling.
- Year: 1977.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: 1200 JAHRE KREMSMÜNSTER · 777–1977. Reverse: REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH · 100 SCHILLING.
- Grading: Uncirculated.
Silver commemorative coin issued for the 1200th anniversary of Kremsmünster Abbey, with a central depiction of a richly decorated liturgical chalice in Romanesque style, showing great detail in ornamental motifs and religious figures in relief. The reverse presents the face value surrounded by heraldic shields of the Austrian regions arranged in a circular pattern, creating a harmonious and balanced composition. The specimen shows a satin finish with slight loss of original luster and the presence of surface marks and fine contact lines, yet maintaining good definition in the reliefs and an overall attractive appearance typical of a non-circulated piece with slight handling.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
