Description from the seller
AUSTRIA. 100 Schilling. 1976.
Value: 100 Schilling.
Year: 1976.
Inscriptions: Obverse: JOHANN NESTROY 1801–1862. Reverse: REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH · 100 SCHILLING · 1976.
Grading: Proof.
A commemorative coin dedicated to the Austrian playwright Johann Nestroy, with a left-facing, realist-style portrait on the obverse, showing fine modeling of the hair and well-defined facial features, surrounded by a commemorative inscription. The reverse features the Austrian Federal Eagle with central shield and state attributes, accompanied by the face value and the date, in a balanced, clean-lined composition. The specimen shows a satin finish with soft luster on the fields, exhibiting slight contact marks and small signs of handling, but maintaining good relief definition and a strong visual appeal typical of a non-circulating piece.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or within the EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
