Description from the seller

Lot of two vases in Murano art glass from "Serie Marmo / Wave", designed and produced by the famous Carlo Moretti manufactory in the first half of the 1970s.

They represent a splendid testimony of Italian Space Age design applied to Venetian glass art. Both pieces are made with the complex technique of opaline glass that is cas ed and marbled. Starting from a milky white glass base, the master glassmaker applied warm plum purple hues, heated, shaped and mouth-blown to achieve the characteristic "marble veining" or undulating effect, which makes each piece a unique and unrepeatable work of art. Both pieces come with the original factory labels, a fundamental detail for authentication and collecting value:
Vase 1 (Hourglass shape): 17 x 8 cm, features the iconic original red adhesive label "Carlo Moretti - Murano Italia" on the body of the vase.
Vase 2 (Drop/organic shape): 18 x 9 cm, retains the original black label applied to the bottom of the vase.
Conservation status: Vase with red label: excellent condition. The glass retains its original brilliance and shows no chips or restorations. Only very slight and physiological superficial spots on the inner/outer bottom due to age and use.
Vase with black label: good overall condition. Structure perfectly intact; no chips, only a small superficial scratch almost invisible to the naked eye, which does not in any way affect the aesthetic rendering or the integrity of the piece.
