The set is made in a cotton fabric of excellent heft and a pristine white color. The standout feature of this lot is the extraordinary, meticulous handcrafted work: both the sheet hem and the pillowcases feature a very rich Sangallo lace border with floral embroidery rendered in delicate pastel tones (lavender, pink, pale yellow, and pale green) and finished with scalloped edges.
