Wooden secreter desk organiser with a roll-top lid, produced in the United Kingdom in the 1970s, measuring 37 cm wide, 22 cm deep and 17 cm high, in good used condition with minor signs of age.
Description from the seller
Large-format roll-top secreter, made of varnished wood, produced in the second half of the 20th century, conceived as a desk organizer with multiple compartments. Its design evokes the classic tambour or “roll-top” desks, with a top cover of curved slats that slides backward, revealing a partitioned interior for correspondence, stationery, and office objects.
The top includes vertical divisions and side shelves, while at the base there is a pull-out drawer with five compartments of different sizes, designed to facilitate the organization of small tools. The metal pull handle and the dark finish with visible grain reinforce its functional and decorative character, typical of domestic office furniture from the mid-20th century.
This piece combines traditional aesthetics with practical storage solutions, and although it does not conform to a specific historical style, its solid construction and structured design make it an attractive item for workspaces with a vintage vibe or collections of utilitarian furniture.
Insured shipping and careful packaging.
