Liquor cabinet - Wood, Zinc

An antique and rare functioning ice chest, the first prototype of a refrigerator in Italy, made of wood with an interior zinc lining and an insulated interspace to keep the cold, which produced ice that was placed in the dedicated container.
Now it is also available for sale in supermarkets.
Dimensions: height 71 cm, 52 cm x 64 cm.
Robust and intact frame, fairly heavy.
Good condition, restored; all parts are original.
The airtightness of the ice container has not been checked.
Beautiful as a decorative, functioning piece.
