Philips - FA-890 (revised) Solid state integrated amplifier

The Philips FA890 is a powerful stereo amplifier (about 2 × 80 to 115 watts) from the late 1980s. Because Philips owned Marantz at the time, this model was built in Japan by Marantz. The amplifier is known for its heavy sound. Many music enthusiasts seek this combination because the FA890 is effectively a 'hidden' Marantz design. It has connections for a turntable (phono), tuner, and several aux inputs. This 800-series has a nice bright blue illumination under the volume knob, etc.

This unit is equipped with a revised power supply, new illumination, a repaired source selector and volume knob. Some specs of this amplifier:
