Born in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture in 1959. After completing graduate studies at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music, he moved to Germany in 1988 to study at the Art Academy in Dusseldorf. He has continued to exhibit his works in Europe, Asia. the Children with knives in their hands looking at you with piercing eyes.... The diary and drawings of Yoshitomo Nara, an artist living in Germany whose cute but slightly scary works have won the support of the younger generation.
