Cartier - Stylo Cartier x Ferrari Formula - Ballpoint pen

Rare find! Treat yourself to the magnificent Ferrari Formula luxury ballpoint pen, new, as if you were back in the 80s–90s.
The pen is very stylish, of high craftsmanship, and in excellent condition.
Comes with its original box and outer box.
The refill is original with the Ferrari logo but it is empty (the ballpoint tip detaches); it needs a new refill.
Produced by Aurora in the 1970s on commission for Cartier.
This pen draws inspiration from Aurora's famous Hastil model, which was redesigned to become an iconic Ferrari pen.
The model was made in red lacquered metal, yellow lacquer, light gray steel and dark gray.
The famous Cavallino Rampante Ferrari is engraved on the head of the pen.
Aurora, “Fabbrica Italiana di Penne a Serbatoio-Aurora”, was founded at the end of World War I, in the heart of Turin.
In the 1970s, Aurora introduced the Hastil, a model designed by architect Marco Zanuso.
Thanks to its innovative design, it was included in the Industrial Design Department’s exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York – MOMA.
